Welcome to Egg Factory

Egg Factory is a creature-collecting game where you hatch eggs, discover different rarities, care for your creatures and build your own nursery. This guide explains the main gameplay systems and the creature states that can affect production.

This document describes gameplay, not an investment opportunity. It does not make promises about token value, market performance or financial returns.

1. Getting started

Game screens may change as the prototype is updated. Follow the current in-game interface for available actions.

2. Caring for your creatures

Each creature card displays its current state, production impact and any action needed. Check these indicators regularly: an unresolved state can reduce or temporarily stop production.

HealthyNormal production

The creature is in good condition and produces at its normal rate, subject to any applicable caretaker bonus.

Hungry−75% production

For non-free creatures without a caretaker, food is due every 24 hours. After the deadline, production is reduced by 75% until the creature is fed. Each feeding costs 500 internal game coins.

Sick−40% production

Use the existing medicine action in the Shop to cure a sick creature. The medicine system selects one sick creature to heal per purchase.

Dirty−20% production

Select “Clean” on the creature card. Cleaning costs 250 internal game coins and restores normal production immediately.

SleepingProduction paused

A sleeping creature stops producing for 4 hours, then wakes automatically. No item or manual action is required.

State penalties do not multiply together: when more than one production restriction applies, the more severe restriction is used. Feeding is a separate timer from random incidents.

3. Incidents and probabilities

For non-free creatures without a caretaker, the game checks for incidents every 24 hours. The basic caretaker reduces incident frequency by checking every 48 hours; the advanced caretaker prevents new negative incidents. At each incident check, the current design uses these outcomes:

These are game rules and may be rebalanced in future updates. The basic caretaker reduces incident frequency. The advanced caretaker prevents new negative incidents and provides automatic feeding. The current caretaker level and creature card indicate which benefits apply.

4. Caretakers

A caretaker does not mean that every existing state is necessarily removed immediately in every version. Check the current game interface and release notes for the exact behavior of an upgrade.

5. Updates and game balance

Egg Factory’s mechanics, incident probabilities, state durations, production rates and interface may be adjusted to improve balance, usability or security. Updates can change how the game behaves. Where practical, updates are intended to preserve player progress, but uninterrupted access and preservation of all local prototype data cannot be guaranteed.

6. Disclaimer & crypto-asset risks

Egg Factory is a game, not financial advice, an investment recommendation or a promise of profit. Nothing in the game, this document or related communications should be interpreted as a guarantee of token value, liquidity, market demand or future returns.

Prototype notice: in the current prototype, real EGG payments, minting, deposits, withdrawals and marketplace transactions are not active.
